Senior Supt. William M. Segun said that the napping officers will be charged with neglect of duty and penalized. He will also summon the stations’ police chiefs to discuss their men’s wrongdoing.
Segun did not reveal the number of officers who he caught sleeping but an initial police report indicated there were at least six officers.
“They were relieved from their posts and placed at the Provincial Holding Administration Unit (PHAU) then pre-charged investigation would be conducted before they are penalized,” he said.
