Those who will participate in the midterm polls must submit the names of the representatives who are authorized to appoint watchers in each post to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) before April 30.
The names and signatures of the representatives can be submitted to the Comelec through the Office for Overseas Voting and the Posts, including Philippine embassies and consulates.
Comelec Office for Overseas Voting Director Elaiza Sabile-David said in a tweet that 99.48 percent of the automated election system (AES) ballots for overseas personal voting have been shipped as of March 7.
The Comelec is now preparing to deploy the rest of the official ballots and other election paraphernalia.
About 1.8 million official ballots for the overseas absentee voting have been completed, the Comelec said.
The overseas absentee voting will be held from April 13 to May 13.
Those abroad can only vote for candidates running for Senate and the House.
