Ampatuan town benefit in free health services

The town of Ampatuan has benefited in the free health services organized by the 2nd  Mechanized Infantry Battalion in partnership with the People’s Medical Health Team-Maguindanao held at the municipal covered court, Brgy. Poblacion, Ampatuan, Maguindanao, on Monday, March 11, 2019.

Lt..Col. Alvin G. Iyog, Commanding officer of the 2nd Mechanized Infantry Battalion and Ms. Lynette Estandarte,  led the preparation and conduct of the just concluded humanitarian assistance through the convergence effort with the Local Government Unit of Ampatuan.

The activity resulted to the following: 853 beneficiaries in medical consultation; 109 in dental service/tooth extraction; and 106 children underwent circumcision.

The medical mission was held to give free medical services to the less fortunate local residents of Ampatuan town.

“Our soldiers will continue to support activities that aim to empower the local government and local agencies to improve the lives and health condition in the far-flung communities,” 6th Infantry Division Commander Major General Cirilito E. Sobejana said.
