German power tools brand Kress has officially launched in the country, bringing its wide array of products and its 90 years of expertise in the industry to the Philippines.
Staging its grand launch at the Grand Hyatt Manila in Taguig City, the event’s theme combined fashion and power, establishing the outstanding character of Kress power tools amid the competitive Filipino market. With almost a century of experience in the field of electric motors R&D and production, Kress has established itself as standard for power tools with its innovative, powerful, and high quality products.
The story of Kress began in 1928, the year when it was founded and started to manufacture power tools in a Swabian town located in Tubingen-Lustnau, Germany. During its early years, the company primarily focused on motor R&D and manufacturing. In 1964, Kress successfully produced its first power drill which became a hit in the German power tools market.
Responding to today’s technological shift and consumer demand, Kress has started to explore robotics, resulting in the production of a Kress robotic lawnmower. With functions similar to an autonomous vacuum cleaner, the Kress robotic lawnmower features an intelligent navigation system, allowing users to let it function alone, and save more time and energy. It can also be controlled by using a mobile application and has an automatic blade stop mechanism when it is lifted for safety.
