The Mount Pulag National Park management, in an advisory, said the trail needs to undergo rehabilitation following the forest fire that hit Eddet and Poblacion villages, in Bakayan, Benguet.

“The park management/DENR, NPC, BFD, residents, and LGUs have suppressed the fire but the windy weather have ignited some embers and fallen debris that triggered the continuance of fire in some portions,” read the advisory.

The park management said they are currently assessing the situation in popular Mt. Pulag trail.
