Ford Philippines is expanding its Ford EcoSport portfolio with the launch of the new 1.5L Titanium AT variant which runs on a new engine and transmission.
The new EcoSport Titanium variant offers a powerful yet fuel efficient driving performance with the new and powerful 1.5L Twin Independent Variable Camshaft Timing (Ti-VCT) engine mated with the new 6-speed automatic transmission, allowing for smoother and faster acceleration and better fuel economy.
It is equipped with multiple Driver Assist Technologies (DATs) that make the driving experience safer and more comfortable. It has Smart Keyless Entry, Power Sunroof, Rear View Camera with Rear Parking Assist, as well as six airbags to ensure maximum driver safety. Other safety features include Hill-Start Assist Control, Electronic Brakeforce Distribution System, Electric Power-Assisted Steering, Electronic Stability Control and Anti-Lock Braking System.
It is also powered by SYNC® 3 that allows drivers to keep their eyes on the road and hands on the wheel while staying connected. SYNC® 3 features voice control for the entertainment system and the driver’s calls and text messages. The AppLink 3.0 feature on SYNC® 3 also allows passengers to use their favorite smartphone applications via the SUV’s 8-inch colored touchscreen. It also has a 7-speaker audio system.
The EcoSport 1.5L Titanium has a ground clearance of 209mm and its exterior features a refreshed grille, a new hood design, headlamps, and 17-inch alloy wheels.
The new variant is also more adaptable with added smart storage spaces. It can handle a load of up to 1,178 liters, with 25 smart storage compartments for coffee cups, smartphones, tablets, umbrellas, bottles and other accessories. Its trunk is spacious enough to accommodate luggage for out of town trips for city dwellers.
Since the new EcoSport was launched last year, it has become a familiar sight on city streets across the country, having gained an even wider appeal for its unmistakable combination of agility, affordability, and fuel efficiency of a compact car with the ground clearance, flexibility, and spaciousness of an SUV.
The EcoSport 1.5L Titanium is available at P1,098,000and comes in Absolute Black, Ingot Silver, Ruby Red, Canyon Ridge, Crystal White, and Blue Lightning colors. The new variant boosts the line-up of EcoSport vehicles to 5 variants, which starts at P918,000. The other EcoSport variants are the 1.0L EcoBoost Titanium AT, 1.5L Trend AT, 1.5L Trend MT, and 1.5L Ambiente MT.
