TCL's presence at CES 2019 puts emphasis on the brand's expansion of its product portfolio with an aim to level up the entertainment experience at home. TCL introduced the largest model in the Roku TV 6-Series, Alto 5 and Alto 7 sound bars, and its headphone lineup.
Responding to the consumer demand for the TCL Roku TV 6-Series, TCL is introducing the newest and the largest model in this series with a 75-inch screen size and up to 160 Contrast Control Zones. In the United States, the model is now available for preorder on BestBuy.com for less than $1800.
TCL also revealed the application of Mini LED on its high-performance TVs. Utilizing Quantum Dot technology, Mini LED will enable deeper blacks and more color volume, resulting in ultra-vibrant colors and excellent off-angle viewing. Mini LED features Quantum Contrast Technology which will deliver up to 300% more contrast control zones. Mini LED will be featured in TCL's upcoming 8K TVs, along with artificial intelligence (AI) through Voice Assistant Services uses an integrated always-on far-field mic array.
On the audio front, TCL is set to launch two lines of sound bars: the Alto 5 and the Alto 7. Ideal for 43-inch TVs and up, the Alto 5 primarily emphasize convenient setup, while the Alto 7 highlights more connectivity and perfect compatibility with 55-inch TVs and up. Both sound bar lines are equipped with a wireless subwoofer. The sound bars will be available in the US this spring.
Additionally, TCL unveiled a range of headphones, from in-ear to over-the-ear styles, across four distinctive lines of consumers who want to be different (SOCL), be themselves (MTRO), be healthy (ACTV), and be excellent (ELIT) while listening to music.
SOCL headphones take inspiration of happy moments into its design to represent a positive and youthful spirit. Sporting a unique transparent housing with a gradient color treatment, the headphones come with powerful speaker drivers. They also come with comfort-fit noise-isolating earbuds, and are available in both wired and wireless options.
MTRO headphones highlight fluid utilitarian design that allows optimal comfort. They pack powerful bass drivers with extended low sound frequency and comfort-fit noise-isolating design for bass enhancement. The line is available in both in-ear and headband styles in wired and wireless options.
ACTV headphones sport a hook design to ensure that they stay in place so active users can focus on their movement and not on the headphones. These personal audio products come with specially-designed drivers and earpieces to reproduce the deepest bass. The IPX4-rated, sweat-proof headphones are available in both wired and wireless options.
TCL's top-of-the-line ELIT headphones, together with the other headphone lines, will be available by summer in the United States.
