“LRT-2 will accommodate barefooted devotees to ride the train in deference to the customary celebration of the Feast of the Black Nazarene on Wednesday, January 9, 2019,” the management said in a Twitter post.

The “No inspection, No entry” policy is being strictly implemented at all stations.

The Feast of the Black Nazarene draws millions of devotees from all over the country who walk barefoot during the “traslacion” as a sign of penance and thanksgiving for favors received.
