PLDT, Smart cited for pioneering cloud solution

PLDT and its wireless subsidiary Smart were recently cited as the first companies to deploy Anaplan’s cloud solution financial system in the Philippines – a feat for both companies as they were able to implement it in record-time of two and a half months. Receiving the Visionary Connected Planning Project Award, PLDT SVP and Smart CFO Chaye Cabal-Revilla said that “this solution has truly provided a digital platform for both PLDT and Smart as it empowers the business to do real-time financial system within the digital era.” The PLDT Group-Anaplan Project Planning Team also received individual plaques, which serve as Outstanding Innovator Award recognition. Through the platform, the companies’ financial system also becomes less IT-dependent as it is made to be easier and more convenient to create financial plans and systems through Anaplan’s cloud solution. Anaplan is a cloud financial planning platform that connects data, people, and plans in every part of your business.
