Fans screamed and stomped on each other’s feet as number one Korean girl group Momoland returned to Manila to meet their fans in a special one-day fan meet and greet and press conference early this week.

Momoland, composed of Hyebin, Taeha, Yeonwoo, Nancy, Nayun, Jooe, Ahin, Daisy and Jane, were warmly welcomed by their Filipino “Merries,” Momoland’s official moniker for fans.

The intimate event, sponsored by Frontrow International, was held at the ABS-CBN Vertis Tent in Quezon City.

The girl group thanked their Filipino fans for all the love and support they’ve received over the years and expressed their excitement in meeting their Filipino Merries once again.

“It’s our second time in the Philippines. Our favorite part of being in the Philippines is definitely getting to meet our ‘Merries’ in the Philippines. It’s not every day that we get to see our fans, so when we’re here, the best part is getting to meet our fans, our ‘Merries,’” Daisy told reporters and fans during the press conference.

The girl group also urged their fans to keep supporting them in their journey.

Mahal namin kayo! (We love you!)” exclaimed Momoland to the delight of fans.

Momoland’s Ahin also hoped to share her happiness and energy to her Filipino fans.

Momoland first visited the Philippines last August for a private event. The group is set to perform in Tamag Grounds, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur on Dec. 9 for a free mini concert.

An exclusive fan meeting will also be held at the Smart Araneta Coliseum on Jan. 25, 2019.

Momoland debuted in 2016 and rose to fame with their hit singles “Bboom Bboom” and “BAAM!” and have released four albums, Welcome to Momoland, Freeze!, Great!, and Fun to the World.
