Kids fashion: layered outfits this cool season

Enter an enchanting realm as the flagship store of Gingersnaps is transformed into a secret garden. Everyone’s favorite spot was located at the far end of the shop, a corner filled with green foliage, cascading fiore and a pretty swing. It’s definitely a crowd favorite, and it served as the focal point of for the special preview. “This is our second annual event. We wanted to give our loyal customers first dibs on our holiday collection. It is also a great time to get together with friends and supporters - to show our appreciation for all their continuous patronage,” shares Sabrina Yu, Creative Director and Founder of Gingersnaps.

Host Daphne Oseña Paez gave her opening remarks, leading to how the brand has grown so much over the years. And for the very first time, a model search was held and the winners were included in that day’s fashion show.

Showcasing the latest holiday collection, the pieces are a mix of the brand’s staple pastel hues, and bold colors. Get the girls ready for the cool weather ahead in pretty tutus, knitted tops, accentuated with ruffles and bows. Have fun layering pieces with the boys in long sleeves and cardigans for an elevated dapper look.

“Being this is the Holiday collection, our pieces are usually a lot dressier. We used a lot of special fabrics and finishes. For this one, we were inspired by Chinoiserie and used Eastern motifs but interpreted them with a European touch,” explains Yu.
