SM City Cabanatuan sweetens Yuletide vibe with ‘cupcake Christmas tree’

CABANATUAN CITY – SM City Cabanatuan adds extra sweet and special to the mall goers during the launching of their centerpiece of 35-feet tall cupcake inspired Christmas tree on Sunday night at the mall event center, this city.

“SM will bring you the best Christmas in every possible way you can imagine – festive, bright, and magical and the sweetest for Cabanatuan City and long-standing tradition of making the yearend season the best for mall-goers of all ages,” said SM’s Ian Ezekiel Balao.

Public Relations Officer Sheen Eugenio, said the event was graced by the presence of provincial tourism officers led by Armando Giron, Director Brigida Pili of the Department of Trade and Industry, Supt. Ponciano Zafra from Philippine National Police and representatives from Bureau of Fire Protection as well as the Cabanatuan City Council headed by Vice Mayor Ej Ballesteros Joson.

Eugenio added that SM Megacenter Cabanatuan, another SM mall in the city, unveiled its colorful Christmas Village last Friday with the message love, peace and joy.

Assistant mall manager Carolyn Licup said that the annual Bears of Joy campaign is once again invited mallgoers share the joy of Christmas with others.

For P200, shoppers get 2 stuffed toy bears – one they can bring home and the other they can donate.

The donated toys, along with personal notes from shoppers, will be brought to charitable institutions.
