Bring out the pro in your game

The Pulsefire FPS Pro is a large mouse, though classified as medium-sized. I found it comfortable and accurate with necessary adjustments made easy. The textured rubber in the sides are comfortable and adds a sturdy grip, and despite what others may say, this style looks quite attractive.

Gaming mice these days are shipping out with left thumb buttons. The Pulsefire FPS Pro has two, which is designed with first-person shooter (FPS) in mind. I’m no advanced Overwatch player but I do feel the difference with using these buttons, which lets me use hero skills faster. (No, I’m not playing competitive).

It doesn’t ship out with a software disc because you can simply download it from the HyperX website, called NGenuity. You can program macros, customize lighting effects, adjust DPI up to 3200 (16,000 with customization), and so on.

Though even without the software, for the Pulsefire FPS Pro, RGB colors can be changed with the button adjacent to the scroll wheel. And it works decent enough on most surfaces even without a mouse pad.

I’ve had a few rounds of switching gaming mice every now and then. Most of the stuff I ended up with had large USB connectors, which I’ve always found frustrating for laptop gaming. The Pulsefire FPS Pro has a smaller and space-friendly one that makes it a lot easier to game on a laptop in tight areas. I find this significant because gaming laptops with full desktop level performances are on the rise.
