Undas in E. Visayas peaceful – PNP

PALO, Leyte – The observance of All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day or Undas in Eastern Visayas was generally peaceful and orderly, the regional police force based in Camp Ruperto Kangleon reported on Saturday.

Chief Superintendent Dionardo B. Carlos told the Manila Bulletin that the observance of Undas was peaceful and orderly as the police organization was on alert and prepared for eventualities.

“The observance of Undas in Eastern Visayas was orderly and peaceful and no untoward incidents were reported in the region,” Carlos said.

Carlos said that 1,692 police officers and 2,418 force multipliers secured cemeteries, transportation terminals, sea and airports, areas of convergence and highways in the region.
