An initial police report revealed that Greg Fuentes was hosting a videoke party for his 47th birthday in his house at 826, Anda Street, Barangay 658, Zone 70 of the said village.

Suddenly, Pablo Bandong Jr., 57, confronted Fuentes past 8 p.m. about the noisy celebration the latter was having as his wife was ill.

But Fuentes, who is the brother of barangay chairperson Salvador, argued that he had secured a permit for his merrymaking.

Their face-off eventually led to verbal and physical altercation until Fuentes allegedly fired two shots from his unknown caliber against Bandong.

In defense, Bandong ran toward his residence just across the celebrator's home to get his gun. He then pulled his trigger, hitting Fuentes' right index finger.

Then the cops arrived and arrested them.
