Togonon filed his CoC before the Commission on Elections (Comelec) local office in Pasay City, accompanied by his slate of composed of new and familiar faces.

The newbie candidate will be facing against the more popular names in Pasay such as the Calixtos and Cuneta. Togonon, however, argued that this disadvantage will also be their team’s advantage.

He said that if their team would be given the chance to win the 2019 midterm elections, they will become the instrument of the much needed change in the city.

“The same names and same faces keep governing the city yet nothing seems to happen, I think it’s time for a change,” Togonon said.

Togonon will be in tandem with Atty. Bong Tebelin while former Pasay City Prosecutor Elmer Mitra will be seeking a congressional seat.

Their slate will all be running under the PDP-LABAN party of President Rodrigo Duterte.
