Former Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson on Monday said she will seek an elective position in the upcoming May 2019 elections.

Uson disclosed her plans in an interview at the Senate after meeting with Senate President Vicente Sotto III.

Prior to this, Uson slammed a report that President Rodrigo Duterte sacked her from the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO), branding it “fake news.”

Uson, however, could not say yet what position she would be running for.

She also said she has yet to consult President Duterte on her plans. Kailangan kong ipaglaban ang ordinaryong mga tao),” she said.
