PDEA Director-General Aaron Aquino identified the drug personality as Raymond Baconguis Inson 45, of Purok 8, Maitom Upper Puerto.

On September 28 at about 11 a.m., elements of PDEA Regional Office 10 under director Wilkins Villanueva conducted a buy-bust operation resulting in the arrest of Inson.

During the operation PDEA agents confiscated four pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu weighing more or less 18.7637 grams with an estimated value of P68,000, and the buy-bust money.

Inson will be charged for violation of Article II of Republic Act 9165, or The Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Also recently PDEA agents seized P7.2 million worth of Kush, or commonly called as cannabis indica, during a buy-bust operation in Muntinlupa Aquino said the operation also resulted in the arrest of suspects identified as Joshua Ramon Jimenez y Prats, 34 years old and Sarah Margarita Dominguez y Panganiban, 24, both maintainers of a manufacturing facility for Kush and considered high-value targets.

Kush is a variety of hybrid marijuana that originated in South Asian countries and also cultivated in Afghanistan, India and Pakistan.

Unlike the common cannabis plants grown in the country, kush is a dwarf type of marijuana plant, making it more untraceable to authorities.

In the Philippines, it is found in Kalinga and Sagada.
