“The full alert status was raised last night (September 20) and I have directed all unit commanders within Region 3 to strengthen target hardening on all vital installations, economic key points as well as places of convergences and ensure high state of operational readiness to thwart any hostile action that may be launched by terror groups,” Corpus said.

He added that all passes of PNP personnel were cancelled and were directed to remain intact in their respective units to ensure conduct of strict accounting personnel.

Corpus said additional troops are also on standby and ready on call in case the national headquarters needs additional troops for Civil Disturbance Management (CDM) operations in Manila.
