The 200-year-old tree known to locals as “Veteran Pine” was destroyed in a landslide last September 15, Yahoo Philippines reported.

Ronan Fagyan, a Baguio resident, was able to capture the moment of the tree’s fall. Fagyan said he took the video around 10:30 am Saturday at North Outlook Drive, Pucsusan.

“Wala na ang pinakamatandang pine tree ng Baguio,” Fagyan captioned his video.

As of posting, the clip has received over 1.1 million views and has been shared more than 14,000 times.
