Prime Event Productions Philippines (PEPPS) Foundation Inc. president Carlo Morris Galang commented on the resignation of Ion Perez as Mister Universe Tourism 2018.

“PEPPS has nothing to do with his resignation nor do we want to comment from any of the allegations that have been posted,” says Galang.

He adds: “Bit as his national organization, of course, we support his decision and we will always stand by him. Even if his decision is solely between him and the international organization.”

The 23 candidates of the contest will fly to Davao which will host the prepageant competitions before flying back to Manila for the finals.

The Misters of Filipinas contest has already produced international winners Neil Perez (Mister International 2014), Karan Singhdole (Man of the Year 2016) and Ion Perez.
