SC leaves it to judges in typhoon-affected areas to suspend work

Chief Justice Teresita J. Leonardo de Castro has given executive judges in areas that are affected and will be affected by typhoon “Ompong” the discretion to suspend work today.

The SC’s public information office (PIO) said “there is no work suspension for National Capital Judicial Region (NCJR) courts except those located in the Manila City Hall.”

Earlier, Mayor Joseph Estrada had ordered suspension of classes in all levels and work in public offices today in Manila, except those involved in emergency preparedness.
