Exotic animals featured in Bulacan Poultry Show

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan — Fancy pigeons, Bantam chickens, rabbits, quail, and exotic animals such as snakes and turtles will be the center of attention during this weekend’s “1st Bulacan Poultry Show” at the Old Gat Blas Ople building parking space in this city.

The officials of the Provincial Veterinary Office (PVO) said that being one of the top provinces that produce livestock and poultry animals, the Provincial Government of Bulacan (PGB) will showcase the side of the poultry industry that combines amusement with income by exhibiting pet poultry animals.

The first day of the event will be the exhibit and show of the fancy pigeons and exotic animals and rabbit for meat seminar while on the second day will be the Bantam chicken and exotic animals’ exhibit and show and the quail-raising seminar.

Governor Wilhelmino M. Sy-Alvarado encouraged animal farmers and enthusiasts to spread the benefits of the rising economy of animal industry.

He also said that the exhibit, which is part of the month-long celebration of the Singkaban Festival 2018, will be open for public and is free of charge.
