The P4 million facility, which was built in partnership with the municipal government, has three instructional classrooms and four administrative rooms that house approximately 100 students.

“It will be utilized by our students residing in the third congressional district, particularly those taking up Bachelor in Elementary Education, Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Bachelor of Public Administration,” TSU President Dr. Myrna Mallari said.

“Mayor Reynaldo Catacutan made possible the construction of two single-story buildings to be used for classroom and administrative purposes,” she added.

Catacutan said he had always wanted a TSU campus in his town so that college students living in Capas and nearby areas would no longer have to travel in Tarlac City to attend their classes.

“Transportation alone is expensive, costing our students around Php200 a day,” he shared.
