SAN JUAN, La Union – A 27-year-old motorcycle rider was declared dead-on-arrival in medical treatment after collided to a pick-up truck along the national highway Barangay Taboc Wednesday night here.
Police identified the fatality as Francis Calibuso, a resident of Barangay Nagsaboan, Bacnotan, La Union.
Investigation shows according to San Juan police station that while the victim was traveling on the said highway when suddenly hit to pick-up truck whose driven by Victorino Silao, a resident of Badoc, Ilocos Norte.
It was allegedly the motorcycle was out of control due to heavy downpour of rain, however, the pickup driver was temporarily at the custody of police station for further investigation.
