3 persons arrested in anti-illegal drug operations in La Union

CAMP DIEGO SILANG, La Union – Joint operatives of the Philippine National Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 1 arrested three persons in simultaneous anti-illegal drug operations in San Fernando City and Aringay town this province on Wednesday.

In San Fernando City, the suspects were identified as Ronald Balanon, 22, a porter from Barangay Saoay, and beautician George Duculan, 31, from Purok 9, Sevilla, all were nabbed in a buy-bust operation in the area of Barangay Langcuas, and Barangay Parian, respectively.

The police seized from them three sachets containing alleged shabu from Balanon, while three sachets also from Duculan. Both of them used P500 buy-bust money from an agent-poseur.

In Aringay, a suspect identified Rey Alibuyog, 39, a resident of Baguio City, was also nabbed in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion.

Seized from Alibuyog are 3 sachets of alleged shabu and P500 buy-bust money.

The suspects are now in police custody. Charges for violation of the Comprehensive on Dangerous Drugs Act or RA9165 will be filed against them.
