The “Project One,” initiated by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), serves as a one-stop information portal about local government units and their business permit processes and requirements.

“Doing business in the Philippines is set to become more convenient for our local and foreign businessmen. They can now access business registration information from different LGU’s at one portal:,” Presidential Spokesman Harry Roque said during a Palace news conference.

“Project One is part of the Duterte administration’s Ease of Doing Business law, which aims to provide pleasant and effortless experience in doing business in the country,” he added.

Roque said the new portal was part of Project One: One Portal, One Form, One Number of the DTI and the Anti Red-Tape Authority (ARTA), in cooperation with the New Zealand government.

“The portal, which was launched last August 16, is a website where all government units can upload their business registration requirements,” he added.

The website aims to make the business registration process in the country simple, fast and easy. It provides the steps on how individuals and organizations can register a business or renew a permit.

The portal also provides information on the competitiveness of local government units based on the City and Municipality Competitiveness Index (CMCI).
