Dancel told Wander Jam with Migz host Migz Haleco during an interview in Los Baños, Laguna that he has decided to shun away from doing live performaces unless he really feels like it.

He further explained that he didn’t want to disrespect the stage as music was what gave him his life now.

Dancel was diagnosed to be suffering from depression a few years ago and in fact, even took a leave of absence from his former band Sugarfree to deal with his problems.

He eventually overcame that bout with depression and even went on to release a phenomenal hit “Wag Ka Nang Umiyak,” which became the theme song for a popular primetime show in ABS-CBN and also used for a commercial of a fastfood chain.

Dancel also performed in a concert with two other artists Jonoy Danao and Bullet Dumas.

Depression is a common and serious medical illness that negatively affects how you feel, think, and act.
