A school owner in Libmanan, Camarines Sur reportedly ordered the bags of senior high school students studying in his school burned Friday, after they allegedly failed to comply with the school's no-bag policy for the day.

In a viral post shared by Earl Vincent Cañaveral, an alumnus of Bicol Central Academy, wrote: "Bags of students who failed to comply (with) the no-bag policy set for the school's event today have been confiscated and burned in the school quadrangle."
"The said bag contains school stuff, clothing, cell phones, and laptops," he added.
According to Cañaveral, the school was celebrating its Tatsumaki day where selected senior high school students were required to wear formal attire since they will temporarily replace their teachers who were going to attend a Department of Education (DepEd) seminar.
"Part of it was that they need to wear formal attires so that they will look like professionals," the alumnus explained in an interview with The Manila Bulletin. "Since they are wearing such, they were told not to bring any big bags or backpacks since it will not look good with their attires."
Reports said that the school owner was so enraged upon seeing the students carrying bags that they ordered his staff to collect these and burn them.
Moreover, the owner was also angered after discovering that the classrooms were disorganized and dirty.
He also caught a student wearing jeans, rubber shoes, and a shirt.
The school head was filmed while he was lecturing and cursing the students. He called them "stupid" after learning that there were electronic gadgets inside their bags while these were being burned.
The Manila Bulletin is currently reaching out to the school owner for his side.
