SsangYong Berjaya Motor Philippines, distributor of SsangYong vehicles and parts in the country, introduces important updates to their key models to increase their competitiveness in the local market.
Tivoli Premium Sport
The Tivoli Premium Sport is a new variant to the Ssangyong lineup. While still retaining its 1.6-liter e-Xgi160 gasoline engine, changes include a cleaner, more unified bumper design along with a bolder fog lamp layout. In addition, a brighter silver hue has been applied to its 18-inch machine-finished wheels to improve the overall contrast against the Tivoli Premium Sport’s new two-tone body color finish.
Inside, the Tivoli Premium Sport’s leather seats get updated with an all-new cooling function, perfect for summer days. Working in conjunction with the existing dual climate control feature, both the driver and front row passenger can now adjust their seats’ warmth and coolness. In addition, the 2018 Tivoli Premium Sports’ new brown leather accents give the interiors an added touch of class and refinement not usually found at this price point.

Tivoli XLV
The Ssangyong Tivoli XLV also gets some added practical design changes that improve vehicle operation. The steering wheel now has added control buttons for the infotainment system which help keep the driver’s focus on the road where it belongs. The Tivoli XLV retains its torquey Euro IV-compliant 1.6-liter Turbo Diesel engine. Rated at 22.35 km/l, this is the same e-Xdi160 engine line that has given the Tivoli XLV excellent reviews in recently concluded fuel economy runs organized by Petron.

Added value
Addressing the customers’ need to be prepared in extreme eventualities, the 2018 Tivoli Premium Sport and XLV variants are now equipped with a proper spare tire which replaces the tire repair kit from earlier releases. To add further value to each Ssangyong purchase, all brand new SsangYong vehicles will continue to enjoy free Preventive Maintenance Service for three years, or 60,000 kilometers, whichever comes first. Also standard is the extended five-year warranty coverage for all brand new SsangYong models.
“The brand lives up to its promise to deliver total customer satisfaction by ensuring top- level service and providing free PMS for three years,” said David Macasadia, managing director of SBMP. “We have also extended our product’s warranty coverage from two to five years and this innovation, which we undertook in 2017, has made owning a SsangYong vehicle a truly satisfying experience.”
The 2018 Tivoli Premium Sport retails for P1,160,000 while the price for the more spacious 2018 Tivoli XLV Diesel starts at P1,180,000 for the 4x2 variant.
