Thailand to host Miss Universe 2018


For the third time, Thailand will once again host the Miss Universe 2018 pageant.

Miss Universe Organization president Paula Shugart and Miss Universe 2017 Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters confirmed it on Tuesday at a press conference in Bangkok.

Also present during the announcement were Miss Universe 1965 Apasra Hongsakula and Miss Universe 2005 Natalie Glebova.

Thailand hosted the pageant in 1992 and 2005. It has already produced two winners – Apasra Hongsakula (1965) and Porntip Nakhirunkanok (1988).

The pageant is set to be scheduled on December 16 (December 17-Manila time).

Catriona Gray will represent Philippines and is set to conquer the Miss Universe 2018 beauty pageant. (with a report from Robert Requintina)
