Two minors who drowned in the Cagayan river were retrieved by Provincial Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction Management Office and rescue 1111 Thursday morning in Cagayan.

Bonifacio Cuartetos Head of Cagayan PCCDRRMO identified the recovered victims as Reynalyn Avila 15 of Atulayan, Tuguegarao City who was found by Rescue 1111 at Bayo, Iguig, Cagayan around 3 pm Wednesday while Robin Soriano, 15 yrs.old, from Linao West, Tuguegarao City was recovered at around 7:45 AM Thursday along Cagayan River at Baccuit/Dugayong Amulung, Cagayan .
It was reported earlier that 5 students who went into swimming along Cagayan river particularly at Linao West Tuguegarao City on July 24.
Three of the group were saved by fishermen. They were Junior Allabon, 16, Linao West, Tug City, Jenelle Beronio 15 , Anaffunan West, Tug City, and Joan Macababbad, 13 were rescued.
