Chief Supt. Debold Sinas, director of PRO 7, led the turnover of the 31 Toyota Hi-lux police vehicles Monday morning at the PRO 7 Headquarters.

Twenty of the brand new police vehicles were given to the Cebu Provincial Police Office (CPPO) while the remaining 11 were turned over to the Bohol Provincial Police Office (BPPO).

Sinas said the new police vehicles will help boost the police’s drive against lawlessness.

“This will also help us better respond to calamities,” Sinas added.

The new vehicles are part of the 100 patrol cars that Camp Crame promised to give to PRO 7.

The remaining vehicles are expected to arrive at the end of this month.

Last February, the PRO 7 also received 20 units of Mitsubishi Montero patrol cars which were donated by the government of Japan.

No less than President Rodrigo Duterte graced the turnover ceremony.
