3 people shot dead at computer shop

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu – Three people were shot dead passed 2 p.m. today at Poblacion, Lapu-Lapu City Cebu.


Victims identified were Angni Usman, 52 years old and his son Jamil, 22, both worked in soy sauce company in Mandaue City.

While a computer technician identified as Jamil Babanggol was also shot to death.

On the initial investigation of SPO1 Lydo Ainos, the father and his son were at the outside portion of Asyah Computer Shop waiting for a ride on their way to work.

Suddenly two riding in tandem men in separate motorcycles came and a gunman from one of the motorcycles shot the young Usman and was hit at his shoulder.

The young Usman immediately run inside the computer shop but the gunman followed him inside and shot him to death.

The computer technician who was inside the shop was also killed.

The father, Angni tried to run away but the other riding in tandem motorcycle gunman shot him hitting different parts of the body, causing his instantaneous death.

Police authorities recovered from the crime scene 15 empty shells wherein 10 empty shells of caliber. 45 and five empty shells of caliber. 9mm.

Ainos is still checking on the background of the victims since they originally came from Lanao del Norte.

He added that they’re still gathering information that could determine the motive for killing.
