The tolling of the church bells to denounce ‘’the President’s politics of killings, corruption and impunity’’ will be led by Bishop Antonio Tobias of the Diocese of Novaliches; Bishop Deogracias Iñiguez, Bishop Emeritus of Kalookan; senators Risa Hontiveros and Antonio F. Trlllanes IV; Partylist Rep. Tom Villarin and former and former Rep. Erin Tañada.

Hontiveros said the tolling of the bells would be one of the highlights of a mass that will be jointly celebrated by Tobias and Iñiguez.

The mass would be offered to the families of the victims of extrajudicial killings (EJKs) and underscore the people’s clamor for justice, accountability and democracy, she said.

A thousand social activists, youth advocates, sectoral leaders and church people from Akbayan Partylist, Kilusang Makabansang Ekonomiya, Student Council Alliance of the Philippines (SCAP) and communities under the pastoral care of the Catholic church are expected to join the event.
