As 1:45 pm, the water level at the Marikina river was at 16 meters reaching the second alarm.

Despite the seemingly encouraging development early in the day, Mayor Marcelino Teodoro reminded his constituents in an interview over DZMM Teleradyo that they are not out of the woods yet.

Currently, the city government is monitoring the water level from upstream, as this directly affects the water level of the river.

Intermittent to moderate rainfall continue to batter most parts of Luzon as tropical depression “Inday” continues to enhance the southwest monsoon.
