Comelec Spokesman James Jimenez announced the decision of the en banc just before noon Tuesday.

“The Comelec En Banc today announced the suspension of work, effective 12 noon, for the COMELEC field offices affected by tropical storm Henry,” he said in a statement.

Jimenez identified these areas as National Capital Region, Region 4A, Region 4B, Bataan, and Bulacan.

“Voter registration in those areas is likewise temporarily suspended,” he said.

Work in the COMELEC Main Office in Intramuros was also suspended by the en Banc.

As of 10 a.m. Tuesday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the center of Tropical Storm Henry was estimated based on available data at 415 kilometers West of Calayan, Cagayan.
