In an MB TechNews interview with GoPro Vice President Global Product Communications, Rick Loughery, he shared that Q1 of 2018 saw a strong sell-through in their earnings driven by the sales of the HERO5 Black and HERO6 Black, especially in the APAC region
“We see a lot of the same potential in countries in Southeast Asia such as the Philippines, given the rise in regional and domestic tourism in the region. This presents GoPro with the opportunity to target the travel see rent which is also tech savvy, with a constant need to share their experi- ences, ” Loughery said.
