BTS, EXO songs to be played at 2018 FIFA World Cup stadium


FIFA World Cup has announced that the songs of BTS, EXO, Queen and Imagine Dragons will be played at a stadium in Russia where the games will be held.

It earlier asked fans to vote for the songs they want to be played in the stadium in four social media platforms: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and VK.

FIFA World Cup announced that the online polls drew almost five million votes.

BTS’ “Fake Love” won on Instagram, EXO’s “Power” dominated Twitter, Queen’s “We Will Rock You” topped Facebook and Imagine Dragons’ “Thunder” took No. 1 on VK.

On Twitter, BTS and EXO each got 48 percent of the 3.32 million votes but EXO edged out BTS in the tally.

EXO held their “EXO Planet #4: The EℓyXiOn” world tour in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on July 7. Next stops will be Seoul and Macau.

BTS will hold a photo and video exhibit titled “O, Neul” at the Ara Art Center in Seoul from Aug. 25 to Oct. 28 to mark their fifth anniversary since debut.

The 2018 FIFA World Cup started on June 14 and will end on July 15. There are 32 countries competing in the games including South Korea, Japan, England, France and Brazil.
