Not again

Over the years, Seasoned Actress (SA) knew how it is to be poor and, thus, her kind heart would often take over. Stories have it that SA would even spend her earnings on treating the crew on her set and giving away her remaining money for the day.

However, SA also has costly vices.
The pressure to maintain her status and the call to enjoy has led to a bottle or two, and then more. Consequently, her love for alcohol has affected her disposition and professionalism. Worse, she is alleged to have spent time in casinos, and as many people know, losing money just makes most gamblers want to play more with hope of recovering the losses.

But just when people thought she had turned over a new leaf, SA allegedly asked for money from her costars for fare or even for food. Apparently, SA is short of cash, as she is believed to have been spending much of her income on her old ways. Sometimes, SA would come to work tired, as though she lacked sleep.

Sadly, such moments make people conclude some things never change.

Failed competition

When Surprising Celebrity (SC) started winning fans, her management team decided to give her a concert.

As predicted, tickets were sold-out. And
the reviews were positive. Consequently, the management decided to bring her show to other locations.

By contrast, Close Competitor (CC) had her concert as well. Like SC, CC had a purpose for her show, and that was to promote her career. Her ticket sales did as well as SC’s, but the sales were tainted with rumors that many tickets were bought by her camp and were given away for free. The cost did not matter, as pride and reputation were at stake. CC cannot fall behind her contemporaries. However, competition was turning out expensive and soon, the family coffers might become depleted if she tries to outdo SC.
