MARAWI CITY -- In time for the celebration of 59th Araw ng Lanao del Sur, Joint Task Force Ranao Deputy Commander Colonel Romeo Brawner, Jr., announced before the government employees at the Provincial capitol gym, July 4, a Kambisita part two to be implemented soon.

He announced a very important step in the rehabilitation of Marawi City saying that very soon internally displaced persons residing at the ground zero or the most affected area will be allowed to enter therein once more.

"Very soon magkakaroon po tayo ng Kambisita part 2 para po doon sa nakatira sa ground zero or MAA, we will give you another chance to go back inside", Brawner said.

On the first kambisita which was slated April 1 to May 10, IDPs were allowed to went inside their residences purposely to get whatever things they could. However, this time is different.

"But this time ang gagawin po natin ay magmi-measure tayo nung exact measurement ng mga properties ninyo" Brawner said.

He said their properties will be measured by a high technology such as Drone to take pictures and will also use a GPS system.

The purpose of this is to make sure where your property is located when the rehabilitation on the debris clearing starts.

He said the government will pay whatever property is being affected by the road widening as saying "Iyang road widening, tinamaan iyang property ninyo, alam po ng Departmeny of Environment and Natural Resources, ng Task Force Bangon Marawi kung ilang square meters iyong tinamaan sa property ninyo para po mabigyan kayo ng karampatang bayad. Babayaran po ng ating gobyerno ang property ninyo na tatamaan dahil sa development, Brawner said.

That is why it is very important to measure your properties so that when the debris clearing is done, we don't have a marker yet but when it is being surveyed and plotted in the map, we will know exactly where your properties are, said Brawner.

Secondly, the IDPs will pinpoint their relatives' burial sites. "Kung meron pong nakalibing na kamag-anak sa properties ninyo, ituro ninyo, he said.

The site will be marked so that necessary step to respect for the dead who were buried there will be done accordingly.

The same schedule will be followed through during the kambisita 1 and the coming kambisita 2 which was by sectors from one up to the last.

A head of the family together with the local officials and the technical people will be allowed to go inside to measure their properties.
