Salonga, who just returned to the country last July 2, slammed drivers who do not follow driving protocols. She Tweeted:

“Me: (Cussing under my breath…another car cut us off without signaling or anything.) Rob: Welcome back, Hon.”

Salonga came back to the country after finishing her stint as Erzulie, the Goddess of Love, in the musical “Once on This Island.”

“Never had to deal with this in New York…well, mostly because I walked everywhere. And then it’s traffic of a different kind,” she added.

Despite her unpleasant encounter on the road, Salonga said she still believes Filipino drivers can change.

“But the whole ‘wait beyond the yellow line’ at NAIA baggage claim was followed for the most part! Gave me hope! May pag-asa pala tayo!” she Tweeted.

The Broadway diva once called out a fellow Filipino for standing over the yellow line in the baggage claiming area in the airport.
