ILIGAN CITY -- The National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) with the Iligan City Social Welfare and Development in an operation Thursday, rescued three minor victims of online sex-oriented activities and apprehended three suspects.

The rescue and arrest came after a sex video was provided by an anonymous source to the NBI that prompted the agency to investigate, find and identify who were the main actors of the said video.
NBI chief Atty. Abdul Jamal D. Dimaporo invited live-in partners who are the subject of their investigation upon confirmation by the victim. "Kinumpirma kasi ng victim na iyong sexual video ay sa kanya at ang kumuha ng video is iyong live-in partner na suspect natin".
The live-in partners were identified as Erwin Jay Lucot, 25 and Mary Jane Nunog, 22, residing in Barangay Saray here.
We invited them at first, sinubpoena to shed light on it and when we showed to them the video and when they confirmed it, that was the time they were told "they are under arrest", Dimaporo said.
Victim one is the niece of Mary Jane and she's the one who took the sex video of Erwin (her live-in partner) with the victim at the pension houses Kingsway, Staylite and Famous accordingly.
As per NBI investigations, these three personalities were paid per show in the amount of P2,000 for the victim and P3,000 for the live-in partner. "So, with the consent of his live-in partner, bini-videohan, pinagpa-sex sila at iyong bata," he said.
After which the video was given to the main suspect identified as one Sheryl Zabate, 38, having four daughters and residing at Manceras apartment in Tubod Celdran Iligan City.
Zabate has a foreigner contact who will receive the video and in turn she is being paid for it as evidence by the Kwarta Padala receipts ranging from P6,000 upward.
Zabate denied she was being paid as she said the foreigner was just given to her by her friend as a boyfriend, in return the foreigner promised to support her needs so as with her children as long as she will be true to him.
Victim one also said she has other companions who happens to be the daughters of Zabate. "upon interview dito sa bata, sinabi niya na may kasama rin siya na subject sa sexual exploitation ng kanyang mismong nanay, si Sheryl", he said.
Zabate at first denied the allegations yet a little later said her two daughters were on it.
"Kay kana katong anak nakong ikaduha mam, dili man gyud unta nko ipa-apil (I shouldn't supposedly include my second daughter mam)" Dili man pud ingon nga bad kaayo mam (not that so bad mam) Igo ra man kanang slight ra man kaayo siya nga pagka-video, dili man gyud focus kaayo sa tanan ( not so much just slightly taken, not focus at all). Slight as in riding and kissing, only her eldest and the second daughter were on it as she said "kato rang kinamagulangan ug ikaduha", Zabate confirmed.
Cases will be filed against the suspects as follows: violations of Republic Act 10364, which is a human trafficking act, RA 9775-anti-child pornography, RA 7610, and RA 9995 in which there is no bail recommended, Dimaporo said.
Victims are now at the custody of the city social welfare and development (CSWD) here.
