In its advisory, DPWH 1st District Engineering Office (DEO) said the repair works will run until August 26, 2018 from June 26, 2018.

The Gamut Steel Bridge will undergo rehabilitation of the deck slab/superstructure, and all north and south-bound motorists are advised to use the alternate road in Barangay La Paz, Bayabas to Tago Poblacion route, the advisory said.

On the other hand, the municipal streets of Poblacion, are not also passable for those vehicles with heavy body chassis including the 14 and 16-wheeler wing-van or stake-body and low bed trailers with prime mover due to the narrow road.

The main streets are also undergoing major repair in the municipality (Tago), it said.

The ground works of the areas will be in 24/7 in an effort to hit its target time of completion or ahead of its schedule time, the DPWH-1st DEO advisory added.
