Province of BATANGAS–Batangas Police Provincial Office (BPPO) has reported the confiscation of more than P400,000 pesos worth of suspected shabu in two separate anti-illegal drug operations here, Tuesday night.
BPPO information officer Seniot Inspector Hazel Luma-ang Suarez said the operatives of Provincial Intelligence Branch (PIB) Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) and Tuy Municipal Police arrested Hassanor Mohammad alias Jhunnix, 22, and a resident in Dasmarińas, Cavite.
Seized from Mohammad was two plastic bags containing suspected more or less 30 grams of shabu with an estimated value of P204,000 during a buy bust operation conducted at Barangay Luntal, Tuy town.
Police also recovered P11,000 marked money.
Meanwhile, Batangas City Police DEU and PIB DEU arrested Bin Fahd Jundam alias Ben, 38, a native of Zamboanga City and resident in Taguig City.
Police also confiscated P204,000 worth of suspected shabu from the suspect in a buy bust operation held in Barangay Balagtas, Batangas City at around 11:45 p.m.
Batangas City chief of police Superintendent Sancho Celedio said Jundam was allegedly monitored by the police as drug dealer in the city and adjacent towns.
