Cardi B revealed that she had already a married fellow rapper Offset in September last year.
“This why I name my album ‘Invasion of Privacy’ cause people will do the most to be nosy about your life. Welp f**k it,” the “Bodak Yellow” rapper tweeted, alongside a photo note.
In her tweet, she said that getting married was a moment she wanted to keep to herself and that the ceremony came together one morning on a quirk.
“Was one morning in September we woke up and decided to get married…I said I do, with no dress no makeup and no ring!” she wrote.
”I appreciate and love my husband so much for still waiting for me to have that special moment that every girl dreams of when he got down on his knee and put a ring on my finger and he did that for me!!” she added.
During Sunday night’s BET Awards, Offset, whose real name is Kiari Kendrell Cephus, also called Cardi B as his “wife”.
A marriage certificate dated September 20, 2017, in Fulton County, Ga, was found by TMZ making Cardi B and Offset legally married for more than a month before their public proposal. (Janelle Lorzano)
