Joe Jonas recalls bitter loss in Disney’s ‘Camp Rock’ film

As today marks the tenth anniversary of the Disney Channel’s original film ‘Camp Rock’, singer and actor Joe Jonas recalled a bitter scene from the movie through a Twitter post today.

“10 years of Camp Rock and I’m still bitter we lost,” Joe Jonas, who played the role of Shane Gray, wrote.

Fans have recognized that the Jonas Brothers lead singer was referring to the second movie of ‘Camp Rock’ released in 2010, where Camp Rock was beaten by Camp Star in a battle. One of them even responded to his tweet.

“That was in Camp Rock 2, Joseph,” a fan replied.

Nevertheless, the singer explained himself saying “...But Shane Grey never forgets where he came from #stillbitter #theogmrgreywillseeyounow.”

Joe Jonas was formerly known as a member of the band Jonas Brothers, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick. The band released albums in 2006 and 2007 before filming for ‘Camp Rock’ in 2008 with singer-actress Demi Lovato as the female lead.

Jonas Brothers continued creating chart-topping music before they went into hiatus, which eventually led the brothers going on separate ways. He then released a solo song before forming a new band with his friends, namely DNCE.

Joe is currently engaged to ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Sophie Turner.
