Bachelor shot dead in Pasay City

A 19-year-old bachelor was shot dead by a still unidentified assassin at dawn Thursday in Pasay City.

Dead on the spot brought by gunshot wounds in the head and body was the victim identified as Edwin Guarin, a.k.a. Tsok, a resident of 667 Virginia Ext., Barangay 130, Pasay City.

Base on the report gathered from the Station Investigation and Detective Management Branch (SIDMB) of the Pasay City police, the incident happened at about 12:30 midnight along Tripa De Galina Riverside, Barangay 130, Pasay City.

According to the police, they only learned about the shooting incident after a certain Nelda Elijida went to their office to report about the body of a male sprawled in the pavement and bathed with his own blood in their place.

Immediately thereafter, members of the SIDMB responded to the crime scene where they saw the lifeless body of the victim.

Meanwhile, Scene of the Crime Operatives (SOCO) of the Southern Police District (SPD) proceeded at the crime scene led by Chief Inspector Abraham Tecson where they recovered empty shells from caliber .9mm.

Police are conducting a thorough investigation on the case to determine the possible motive of the shooting incident.
