The Russian Navy vessels Large Anti-Submarine Ships, Admiral Tributs and Admiral Vinogradov, and Large Sea Tanker, Pechenga, will arrive for a goodwill visit to the Philippines from June 9 to 14 at Pier 15, South Harbor, Manila.
Navy Captain Lued Lincuna, the director of the Naval Public Affairs Office, said the Russian Navy vessels will arrive in Manila at about 7:30 a.m.
He said a welcome ceremony and port briefing will be conducted upon arrival of the Russian vessels after a customary meeting procedure with the designated Philippine Navy vessel at the vicinity of Corregidor Island.
In April, 2017, a Russian Navy missile cruiser ship and a large sea tanker arrived in the country for a four-day goodwill visit.
In September of last year, three Russian Navy vessels also docked at the Manila South Harbor for a six-day goodwill visit.
