Albayalde reshuffles PNP's top officials

Philippine National Police (PNP) chief Oscar Albayalde has instituted a major reshuffle among his top officials.

Effective today, National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) chief Camilo Cascolan will be replaced by Calabarzon police chief Guillermo Eleazar. Cascolan will be appointed to PNP-Civil Security Group.

Other PNP officials who were reassigned were: Dir. Federico Dulay from Civil Security Group to Office of the Chief PNP; Chief Supt. Edward Carranza from Police Regional Office-Cordillera to Police Regional Office-Calabarzon; Chief Supt. Rolando Nana from NCRPO to Police Regional Office-Cordillera; Chief Supt. Rolando Anduyan from Police Regional Office-ARMM to NCRPO.

Moreover, Chief Supt. John Bulalacao will be replaced by Senior Superintendent Bong Durana as PNP spokesperson.

Durana is a graduate of Philippine Military Academy Class of 1988, and a Special Action Force (SAF) operations officer before being assigned as the provincial director of Aklan province.

Chief Supt. Bulalacao will be appointed as Police Regional Office-6 (Iloilo) chief, replacing Chief Supt. Cesar Binag.

Chief Supt. Binag will then head the PNP Directorate for Information and Communications Technology Management. (With reports from Martin Sadongdong)
